SilentHosts operates outside the territorial scope of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act. The statute has no legal force against the operating entity (SilentHosts LLC, registered in Republic of Seychelles) or against any of the eight datacenter jurisdictions we serve. Boilerplate DMCA-format notices sent to legal@silenthosts.io are filed in the wrong jurisdiction and will not be acted upon.

Substantive complaints under the law of the jurisdiction where a customer's server is hosted — Iceland's Höfundalög, Switzerland's URG, the Netherlands' DSA Article 16 procedure, Romania's Law 8/1996, and so on — are reviewed by counsel. Properly-substantiated notices are forwarded to the customer with a 14-day response window before we take action.

Reports of content prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy — CSAM, terrorism, malware C2, fraud, phishing, non-consensual imagery — should be sent to abuse@silenthosts.io. These are acted upon globally, regardless of jurisdiction or claim-form, within the timelines set out in the AUP.
